The Bio-Digital Footprint (BDF) Protocol
Verifiable Records for Transformed Bioassets via Bio-Digital Twins and Tiered Attestation
v1.0 · 37 pages · PDF 745 KB
The Bio-Digital Twin, its four attestation vectors and the four-tier attestation model.
The Bio-Digital Footprint. Records for transformed food lots, built on Bio-Digital Twins and tiered attestation.
BDF is a protocol for records of transformed food lots, built on open standards.
A record is one Bio-Digital Twin per lot, with evidence in four vectors.
Sealing will hash, chain and anchor each event on Ethereum. Planned
Anyone will be able to verify it with a Bee node and an Ethereum RPC. Planned
Each vector comes from a different party. How each one is captured, by design and in the Boyacá pilot, is in Method.

Where it grew: origin, cultivar, soil and weather, first mass.

How it travelled: each transport leg, its times, and the mass at both ends.

What the cycle actually did: telemetry, energy, mass in and out.

What the plant committed to do, before the cycle runs.

Third-party evidence, such as a lab assay. An envelope, not a fifth vector.
Three of these vectors are on record for one real lot: 7ZxK9mQ4Pd2nR8, a basket of blueberries from Boyacá.

A Quantification and Monitoring Methodology for Avoided Disposal Emissions, Built on the Bio-Digital Footprint Protocol
v1.0 · 62 pages · PDF 851 KB
How avoided disposal emissions are quantified, with each monitoring requirement mapped to a tier. Appendix A works the calculation on the pilot data, with CO₂e, credit and EUR figures. No registry has approved the method, and none of those figures is a claim about a lot on this site.
Implementation Reference for the Bio-Digital Footprint Protocol
v1.0 · 49 pages · PDF 688 KB
The nine open standards BDF composes, with each vector mapped field by field.
Threat Model, Trust Assumptions, and Formal Reductions for the Bio-Digital Footprint Protocol
v1.0 · 50 pages · PDF 898 KB
Five adversary types, eight trust assumptions and a security reduction per tier.
No full HTML edition exists for any of the four.
What exists today, what is written but open, and what waits.
